The Millwall Brick is an improvised weapon made of newspaper allegedly used at football matches due to the restriction of certain objects being brought into the stadium. This led to people becoming more creative and they began using everyday objects that they could get past the security check.

The Millwall Brick is made by rolling a newspaper and bending it on itself, coins or other objects can be introduced inside to add weight to the weapon. Kelly had heard about this from a television show that sparked his interest in a game that he was never before bothered with.

Kelly was intrigued and wanted to see what a football game was really like, he asked if during his visit to England there was any chance of seeing a match. I thought that it would be difficult as our time frame was so small but luck may have it, Portsmouth were playing at home.
